Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or 3
Salary: Up to £26,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Our client’s Ofsted-rated "Good" nursery provides children with an excellent start through high-quality delivery of the Early Years Curriculum. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will work closely with children to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. You’ll support their development through creative play and planned learning activities, ensuring they are prepared for school and life. You’ll be part of a friendly, caring team that values every child’s unique potential.
What we’re looking for?
- Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in an early years or childcare setting.
- A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a variety of exciting, age-appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Curriculum.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Monitor and record children’s progress, ensuring individual needs are met through tailored learning plans.
- Promote important social skills, encouraging collaboration, communication, and confidence.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating environment, ensuring all resources and facilities are used effectively.
- Support the team in achieving and maintaining high standards, contributing to the nursery’s success.
