Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3)
Hourly Rate: £12.50–£13
40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days
Our client, a well-established and nurturing nursery, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to join their vibrant team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will work across beautifully designed playrooms and an expansive outdoor space, helping to deliver high-quality care and education. From babies to pre-schoolers, you’ll inspire children to explore, grow, and thrive through engaging activities and play.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience: Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting.
- Knowledge: A sound understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
- Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning, creativity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver stimulating activities tailored to children’s individual needs, in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create a nurturing and safe environment where children feel supported to learn and develop.
- Build strong and trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Observe and assess children’s development, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Promote a love of the outdoors through activities in the nursery’s expansive outdoor space.
- Adhere to nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety standards.
