Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3)

Salary: £24,500
Hours: 40 hours per week

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding care and learning experiences for children. You will work closely with your team to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment, supporting children to reach their full potential.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 in Early Years or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion: A commitment to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of an engaging curriculum in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Monitor and record children’s progress, sharing updates with families and colleagues.
  • Build strong and positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Ensure the nursery’s policies and safeguarding procedures are consistently followed.
  • Foster a fun and inclusive environment that encourages learning through play.
  • Contribute to the organization and cleanliness of the playrooms and outdoor areas.
