Nursery Manager (Term Time Only)
Salary: £36,500
45 hours per week

As the Nursery Manager will be responsible for the overall running of the nursery, ensuring it meets the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding. You will lead with vision and empathy, creating a supportive space for children to thrive and for staff to grow. Working closely with families, you’ll build strong partnerships and ensure every child is fully supported in their early development.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an early years setting, with strong leadership qualities
- Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
- Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding certifications
- Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and safeguarding procedures
- A confident communicator with the ability to motivate and lead a team

You will be responsible for:
- Plan, deliver, and maintain an exceptional early years provision that meets the needs of children and families
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports every child’s learning and development
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staffing, ratios, and regulatory compliance
- Uphold and exceed Ofsted standards, maintaining the nursery’s outstanding rating
- Build strong and trusting relationships with parents/carers, keeping them actively involved and informed
- Oversee safeguarding procedures and ensure the wellbeing of all children in the setting
