Nursery Manager
Salary: Up to £40,000
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our client’s nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and fostering a love of learning through play and exploration.
The nursery focuses on building self-confidence and independence through engaging, play-based learning. The setting includes a secure, fully enclosed outdoor play area, allowing children to explore and enjoy the outdoors safely.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a nursery or early years education setting
- Safeguarding & Child Protection: Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection protocols
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with staff, parents, and children
- Diversity & Inclusion: A commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion
- Administrative Skills: Strong administrative skills, including budget management
- EYFS Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework and its implementation

Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Lead and manage the nursery’s day-to-day operations
- Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards
- Staff Support: Supervise and support staff, providing mentorship and guidance
- Parent Relations: Oversee the admissions process and build strong relationships with parents
- Compliance: Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards
- Inclusive Learning Environment: Promote an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive learning environment
- External Collaboration: Collaborate with external agencies to enhance the nursery’s services
