Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a dedicated team in providing high-quality early years education and care. The nursery is perfectly placed in the countryside, surrounded by natural green spaces, allowing children to explore and learn in an outdoor environment. With five age-appropriate rooms, the nursery offers a secure, caring, and stimulating space where children can flourish socially, physically, and emotionally.

 

The Nursery Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to make a real impact, ensuring the nursery continues to provide outstanding care and education while supporting and developing the team.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification (minimum) – essential.
  • At least two years of experience as a Nursery Manager in an early years setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and Ofsted regulations.
  • A passion for early years education and a commitment to providing outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management – Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
  • Staff Development – Support, mentor, and inspire the team to deliver high-quality early years education.
  • Quality & Compliance – Ensure all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are met to maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Child-Centred Approach – Create and implement an engaging curriculum that supports children’s learning and development.
  • Parental Engagement – Build strong, positive relationships with families, keeping them involved in their child's progress.
  • Business & Administration – Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and recruitment to ensure the nursery’s success and sustainability.
