Our client, a well-established nursing home, is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join their team. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering person-centred care to adults with mental health conditions in a calm and supportive environment. You'll be responsible for creating care plans, conducting risk assessments, and administering medication in line with the service's policies. Your work will empower residents to promote their recovery and independence through holistic, innovative approaches.

What We’re Looking For

• Active NMC PIN and a nursing qualification - Mental Health Nurse
• Previous experience working in mental health or rehabilitation settings, with training in medication administration.
• Strong ability to develop care plans, conduct risk assessments, and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Familiarity with current mental health legislation and a commitment to least restrictive practice.
• A resilient, organised, and approachable attitude that fits well within a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred care to adults with enduring mental health needs.
• Develop and implement care plans and risk assessments to ensure tailored care for each resident.
• Administer medication in accordance with policy and guidelines, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Foster recovery and independence through holistic and person-centred approaches.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, adhering to health and safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care at all times.
