Level 3 Nursery Room Leader
Salary: £28,000-£28,500

40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days

 

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join a well-established and nurturing nursery. This is a perfect role for someone who thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment and is committed to providing enriching experiences for young children.

 

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will take on a leadership role in overseeing a team of practitioners within beautifully designed playrooms and expansive outdoor spaces. You’ll help to deliver high-quality care and education, ensuring that every child is supported in their learning and development in a safe and engaging environment.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting, ideally in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge: A sound understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning, creativity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and education.
  • Plan and deliver stimulating activities tailored to children’s individual needs, in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment where children feel supported to learn and develop.
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Observe and assess children’s development, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Promote a love of the outdoors through activities in the nursery’s expansive outdoor space.
  • Adhere to nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety standards.
