Deputy Nursery Room Manager (Baby Room)
41 hours per week | All year round
Salary: From £26,000
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Deputy Nursery Room Manager to join our client’s team in the Baby Room. This role is perfect for an experienced early years professional ready to take the next step in their career, supporting the Room Manager in providing high-quality care and education for babies in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Our client’s nursery offers a warm and welcoming ‘home from home’ setting, where babies receive personalised care to support their early development. If you are passionate about infant care and development and have strong leadership skills, we would love to hear from you!
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- A strong understanding of early childhood development.
- Experience in leading or supporting a team within an early years setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for early years education and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of care.

Your Responsibilities
- Support the Room Manager in overseeing the daily running of the Baby Room, ensuring a high standard of care and education.
- Create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment that supports babies' development and emotional well-being.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage sensory exploration, communication, and early learning.
- Observe, assess, and track each baby’s progress, using insights to tailor individual care and learning plans.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursery practitioners, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s development.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and safeguarding guidelines are followed at all times.
