Deputy Nurse Manager - Supernumerary
40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £48,000

In the role of Deputy Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the nursing team, upholding the highest standards of care, and fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere. With a strong CQC rating and a commitment to resident-centred care, our client seeks an experienced nurse to help lead their nursing home.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Support the Nurse Manager in supervising, coaching, and managing the nursing team.
- Care Planning: Assist in developing individualized care plans that reflect residents' needs and preferences.
- Clinical Leadership: Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
- Medication Oversight: Ensure safe and compliant medication administration.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in line with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse: Valid RGN or RMN qualification.
- Experience: Proven background in elderly care, or nursing home environments.
- Leadership Skills: Strong team management abilities with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing care.
