Clinical Deputy Nurse Manager – Nursing Home
Salary: Up to £51,000
42 hours per week – mixture of clinical and supernumerary hours
Our client, a respected nursing home with a strong reputation for quality care, is now looking for a Clinical Deputy Nurse manager to join their team! In this role will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager with the home’s daily operations, ensuring high standards of care, overseeing medication management, and supervising the nursing and care teams.
Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification and valid UK NMC Pin
- Prior experience in a similar clinical or management role in a nursing home setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent understanding of care planning, medication management, and quality assurance in a healthcare setting
- Compassionate and communicative, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager with all aspects of daily operations, including taking charge in their absence
- Manage and monitor care planning and delivery, ensuring each resident’s needs are met
- Oversee medication management to ensure safe and compliant practices
- Supervise and appraise nursing and care staff, promoting development and excellence within the team
- Work to uphold the home’s quality standards and support the continual improvement of care procedures and policies
