Our client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Deputy Nurse Manager to join their team. This specialist service provides high-quality residential and nursing care to older adults, as well as support for younger adults with complex needs.

Working closely with the Home Manager, the Deputy Nurse Manager will take on a vital leadership role—supporting clinical practice, guiding a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the delivery of safe, dignified, and high-quality care.
The successful candidate will lead by example, inspire confidence in the team, and help maintain a warm, supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Skills & Qualifications
- NMC-registered Registered General Nurse (RGN)
- Previous experience in a senior nursing or leadership role
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Confident in managing care plans, staff supervision, and medication protocols
- Familiarity with current regulatory frameworks including MCA/DoLS
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the service alongside the Home Manager
- Support, mentor, and lead a team of nurses and care staff
- Oversee care plans and medication management
- Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Promote a culture of compassion, dignity, and respect
- Contribute to audits, quality monitoring, and service improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
