Deputy Housing Manager (Retirement Community)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: up to £27,500 per annum 

 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Housing Manager to support our client’s retirement community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with older people, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to effectively lead staff in creating a positive resident experience.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous housing experience

  • Previous housing experience in a retirement community setting

  • Proven ability to motivate and lead staff in a customer service environment

  • Experience in achieving Key Performance Indicators and ensuring contractual compliance

  • Proficiency in collecting, analysing, and acting on customer feedback

  • Strong communication skills with staff, residents, and other key stakeholders

  • Great customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate staff to ensure a high standard of service delivery and resident satisfaction

  • Assisting in tenancy management and assisting residents in paying rent and service charges including eligible benefits claimed 

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the retirement community, ensuring contractual compliance and achievement of KPIs

  • Compile and analyse resident feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and key stakeholders to maintain a harmonious living environment

  • Utilise strong organisational and time management skills to oversee front-of-house operations and compile detailed reports
