Deputy Housing Manager (Retirement Community)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: up to £27,500 per annum
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Housing Manager to support our client’s retirement community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with older people, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to effectively lead staff in creating a positive resident experience.
What We’re Looking For
Previous housing experience
Previous housing experience in a retirement community setting
Proven ability to motivate and lead staff in a customer service environment
Experience in achieving Key Performance Indicators and ensuring contractual compliance
Proficiency in collecting, analysing, and acting on customer feedback
Strong communication skills with staff, residents, and other key stakeholders
Great customer service skills

Responsibilities
Lead and motivate staff to ensure a high standard of service delivery and resident satisfaction
Assisting in tenancy management and assisting residents in paying rent and service charges including eligible benefits claimed
Manage day-to-day operations of the retirement community, ensuring contractual compliance and achievement of KPIs
Compile and analyse resident feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and key stakeholders to maintain a harmonious living environment
Utilise strong organisational and time management skills to oversee front-of-house operations and compile detailed reports
