Deputy Home Manager - Residential Care
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Alternate weekends)
Salary: Up to £29,000
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our residential care team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a leadership or management role within a residential setting and possess the necessary qualifications in health and social care.
The service is a small residential facility that supports adults with Dementia and/or a Learning Disability.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Deputy Home Manager or Team Leader in a residential care setting.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Previous experience in a CQC-regulated environment.
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a social care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Service Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the residential care facility.
- Lead and support a team of care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments.
- Manage staff schedules, conduct appraisals, and provide coaching and support to team members.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and external stakeholders, addressing concerns and queries as needed.
