Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN)

Salary: £50,000 | Hours: 40 per week (including 12 hours clinical)

 

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced nurse with a passion for mental health and dementia care to play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

 

The Clinical Lead will oversee clinical operations, mentor staff, and ensure outstanding care for residents. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong leadership skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of those in their care.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with active NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in clinical leadership within a care environment.
  • A strong background and passion for mental health and dementia care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with staff, residents, and families.
  • Organisational and time-management skills, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Proficiency in maintaining electronic records and databases for accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate care plans, ensuring they are tailored to residents’ individual needs.
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship, supporting the care team to deliver outstanding care.
  • Conduct regular clinical audits and assessments to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with external healthcare professionals and families to provide comprehensive care.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of care staff.
  • Promote a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion within the care setting.
