Clinical Lead Nurse

Salary: £46,800

40 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our client’s dynamic nursing team at a beautiful care home which provides residential and nursing care for older people and people living with dementia.

 

As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered within the home. You will be responsible for overseeing the well-being of residents by ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Leading by example, you will inspire, mentor, and motivate a team of nurses while providing clinical guidance and coaching to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Nursing Qualification and NMC Registration
  • Leadership Skills: Previous experience within a similar leadership role and excellent leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
  • Care Planning Experience: Experience in developing care plans and risk assessments.
  • Regulatory Understanding: Understanding of regulatory frameworks and best practice guidelines.
  • Decision-Making Abilities: Strong communication and decision-making abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and support the care team to provide exceptional person-centred care.
  • Resident Care: Ensure that residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met to the highest standards.
  • Care Planning & Risk Assessment: Maintain and develop well-structured care plans and detailed risk assessments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold regulatory compliance, including DoLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
  • Dignity & Independence: Promote dignity, choice, and independence for all residents.
  • Medication Management: Ensure the safe administration and management of medications.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and provide comprehensive handovers.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
