Clinical Lead Nurse

Salary: £40,000

Our client, a beautifully renovated small nursing home set in a picturesque village, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Lead Nurse. This welcoming home includes a specialist EMI Unit, providing high-quality dementia care in a supportive and person-centred environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the clinical team, ensuring excellence in care delivery, compliance with regulations, and continuous development of best practices. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' lives while mentoring and supporting the care team.

What We’re Looking For

• Nursing qualification and active NMC registration
• Previous leadership or senior nursing experience within a care home or similar setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge, particularly in dementia and EMI care.
• A thorough understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in elderly care.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing and care staff, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality care, particularly within the EMI Unit, ensuring residents receive person-centred support.
• Assist in compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards.
• Develop and review individualised care plans, ensuring residents’ needs are met with dignity and respect.
• Support the training, development, and supervision of nursing and care staff.
• Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and external healthcare professionals, fostering positive relationships.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and compassionate care.
