Registered Home Manager
Salary: Up to £65,000

Full-time, 40 hours per week

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate Registered Home Manager to lead a large, purpose-built care home for older adults. This role is ideal for an experienced manager with a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care, particularly for individuals with dementia, within a modern and supportive environment.

 

As Registered Home Manager, you will oversee a home, ensuring that all aspects of care meet and exceed CQC requirements. With a salary of up to £65,000, this position offers the chance to lead a skilled team in a well-care home, while also working to build strong connections within the community.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Home Management Experience: Proven experience managing a nursing or residential home for older adults.
  • Qualifications: Nursing qualification or Level 5 Health and Social Care
  • CQC Guidelines and Regulations: Strong understanding and experience working within CQC guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Demonstrated skills in team leadership, development, and creating a positive workplace culture.
  • Financial Management Skills: Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and operational efficiency.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage positively with local stakeholders.

 

Your day-to-day:

  • Leadership and Compliance: Manage all aspects of the residential care home’s operations, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and maintaining an environment of outstanding care.
  • Care Planning: Provide and regularly review individualized care assessments and plans to ensure they align with regulatory requirements and each resident's unique needs.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and manage a dedicated team of care professionals, promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture.
  • Financial Oversight: Maintain budgetary control and work toward financial goals, ensuring the home’s sustainable and efficient operation.
  • Community Engagement: Drive occupancy by effectively marketing the home and building strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and community organisations.
