What we’re looking for

  • Senior experience in a nursery or childcare setting, with a solid understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • A creative and proactive approach to childcare, with a focus on delivering engaging and stimulating learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • A passion for outdoor learning and sensory play, aligned with the Forest School ethos.

Your day-to-day

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, safe, and supported.
  • Contribute to the Forest School programme, encouraging outdoor exploration and hands-on learning.
  • Support the development of children’s social, emotional, and cognitive skills through creative play and sensory activities.
  • Build strong relationships with families, acting as a point of contact for their child’s progress and well-being.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and contribute to individual care and learning plans.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members, sharing your expertise and supporting their development.
