Salary: Up to £30,000
40 hours per week
Are you a passionate and experienced childcare professional looking for a fulfilling role in a vibrant and supportive setting? This exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner offers the chance to work in a nursery that goes above and beyond to nurture young minds. With dedicated age-focused playrooms, engaging messy and sensory play areas, and a Forest School approach, this nursery provides an inspiring environment for both children and staff to thrive.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality care and education while supporting the team in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Drawing on your senior experience, you’ll help guide and mentor colleagues, ensuring every child receives exceptional support in their early learning journey.
What we’re looking for
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Senior experience in a nursery or childcare setting, with a solid understanding of the EYFS framework.
- A creative and proactive approach to childcare, with a focus on delivering engaging and stimulating learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- A passion for outdoor learning and sensory play, aligned with the Forest School ethos.
Your day-to-day
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, safe, and supported.
- Contribute to the Forest School programme, encouraging outdoor exploration and hands-on learning.
- Support the development of children’s social, emotional, and cognitive skills through creative play and sensory activities.
- Build strong relationships with families, acting as a point of contact for their child’s progress and well-being.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and contribute to individual care and learning plans.
- Mentor and guide less experienced team members, sharing your expertise and supporting their development.
