Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Salary: £26,000-£27,000

Full-time, 40 hours per week

 

Our client, a welcoming and friendly nursery set in a beautifully renovated Victorian building, is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their passionate team. The role offers an opportunity to help deliver high-quality care and early years education to children aged 3 months to 5 years in a nurturing environment.

 

The nursery is dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating environment, with access to a sensory room and soft play area, offering exciting activities to enhance the children’s learning every day. What We’re Looking For

  • Childcare Qualification: Level 3 in Early Year or equivalent (essential).
  • Experience: Some experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred, but not essential.
  • EYFS Knowledge: Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how it supports children’s development.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with children, parents, and staff.
  • Passion for Care: A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Childcare Support: Assist in delivering high-quality care and education to children in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Activity Planning: Help plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster children’s learning and development.
  • Monitoring Progress: Observe and track children’s development, providing feedback and reports as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the nursery team to provide consistent and professional care.
  • Building Relationships: Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring clear communication and support.
