We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth by attracting new clients, retaining existing business, and opening new markets. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach within the healthcare sector while working closely with Team Leaders and Senior Recruitment Consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on businesses, individuals, and industry trends to identify potential clients, markets, and ways to enhance existing services.
  • Reach out to potential clients via phone and email to generate interest and schedule meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling client presentations, materials, and proposals to win new business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through in-person meetings and consistent communication.
  • Negotiate business terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Set and track sales goals, ensuring the team meets and exceeds targets.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to manage risks and implement business strategies.
  • Attend networking events, conferences, and industry expos to build connections and identify opportunities.
  • Train and mentor junior sales team members to develop their skills and align with company goals.
  • Work alongside Recruitment Consultants to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within the recruitment or healthcare sector.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify new opportunities and optimise client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Confident in preparing and delivering impactful presentations and pitches.
  • A results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including Nursing, Residential Care, and Early Years recruitment, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and work independently when needed.
