Band 5 Registered Nurse – Respiratory Care

Salary: £27,000 - £31,500

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join their team in their purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility. This service provides specialist long-term respiratory support, for individuals requiring specialised care. As a Band 5 Registered Nurse you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients requiring respiratory support. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and techniques, while also being part of a team that is passionate about delivering person-centred care. You will play a vital role in supporting patients' health and well-being, ensuring that their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • NMC Registration: Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification, with a valid UK NMC Pin.
  • Person-Centred Approach: Strong commitment to person-centred care
  • Initiative & Time Management: Ability to demonstrate initiative and creativity in problem-solving. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care: Provide clinical care to patients requiring long-term respiratory support, including non-invasive and invasive ventilation.
  • Collaborative Care: Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Monitoring & Assessment: Monitor and assess patients’ condition, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs.
  • Care Plans & Documentation: Support the implementation of care plans and contribute to team discussions regarding patient progress and care adjustments. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Empathy & Professionalism: Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a commitment to promoting dignity and independence for all residents.
