Nursery Room Leader (Level 3)
Full-time | 40 hours per week | £14.50 – £15.00 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Our client, a well-established and nurturing nursery setting with a Good Ofsted rating, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) to take the lead in one of their rooms. Known for delivering personalised care and meaningful learning experiences, the nursery offers a beautiful and well-resourced environment, both indoors and outdoors, designed to meet the developmental needs of every child.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional to step into a leadership role. As Room Leader, you will inspire and guide a team of practitioners, ensuring that your room provides a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident, and eager to learn.
You will work closely with management, staff, and families to deliver high-quality early years education and care that reflects the EYFS framework and the individual needs of the children.
What We’re Looking For
- A full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3
- Proven experience in a nursery setting, with leadership or senior practitioner experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and a commitment to child-led, inclusive practice
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive approach and the ability to inspire and support others
- An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and experience implementing them effectively

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
- Support, mentor, and supervise a team of practitioners within your room
- Foster strong relationships with children and their families, promoting open communication
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, hygiene, and health & safety
- Monitor children’s progress and contribute to assessments and reports
- Champion inclusive practice and uphold the nursery’s values and policies
