Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3)
Full-time | 40 hours per week | Up to £12.21 per hour (dependent on qualifications and age)

 

Our client, a warm and welcoming nursery with a strong reputation for personalised care and high-quality learning opportunities, is looking for a passionate Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to join their team. Located in a beautifully designed setting with a Good Ofsted rating, the nursery offers a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child is celebrated and supported to thrive.

 

The successful candidate will work full-time (40 hours per week) within one of the nursery’s age-specific rooms, each thoughtfully tailored to meet the developmental needs of the children. With a large, well-equipped outdoor area and a team that values creativity, compassion, and connection, this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of young children.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A full and relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or 3)

  • A genuine passion for early childhood development

  • Knowledge of the EYFS and a commitment to inclusive, child-centred practice

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and a proactive approach to children’s wellbeing

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and learning experiences tailored to individual children

  • Support children’s physical, emotional, and social development through play and structured activities

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework

  • Foster a warm, secure, and inclusive environment for all children and families

  • Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/carers

  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery, including safeguarding and hygiene procedures
